Learn a variety of soldering skills that are fundamental to making metal jewelry. Torch use and safety will be practiced along with several methods of applying and using solder. You will make
a small wearable pendant as well as a bronze ring!

ENAMELS
Torch Firing Technique
This is a fun, easy to learn enameling technique. Using a torch and a tripod, firing beneath the enamel work and a glass rod on top swirling the enamel, creating a random design. You will finish with a pair of earrings to wear home!

Using rivets, tubes or wire, learn how to put jewelry together without the heat of solder! Copper, silver, gold, bronze - any metal you're using to make jewelry can be attached through the use of cold connections!

Applying Gold to Silver
An ancient Korean gilding technique used to apply thin sheets of gold to silver, to make silver-gilt. The 24 carat gold foil is applied with heat and pressure fusing the gold to the silver in a permanent bond.
